I got my DD-20 in the mail yesterday, but I haven’t had a chance to play through it yet. I got my pedalboard all set up and everything, but my amp is at church and I didn’t have the adapter with me to plug into my computer, so I couldn’t even play with it. =/
Band practice is tonight, so I’ll put it through the paces. I’ll post a report once I’ve had some time to experiment with it.
For now, I’m planning to use the DD-20 for tempo-based delays. I have it before the Echo Park, which I’m planning to set up for a long delay with the analog model. We’ll see how it works…

Way to be! Can’t wait to hear how it works out for you.
You’ll be surprised at how good the analog model is on the DD-20. I had both the DD-20 and DL4 for a while but once I learned how to use the DD-20 the DL4 was no longer worth the real estate it took up so I axed it. I have been wanting to try the echo park, I hear good things. Check out this thread, it opened my eyes to the wide world of sonic possibilities with the DD-20 http://www.thegearpage.net/board/showthread.php?t=383609&highlight=dd-20 presets
yeah i run my echo park in front of my digi delay, the echo’s tap feature is really handy, and the digi delay, well to do tap temp is nearly impossible.
post some sound samples!
Gotta buy an amp for home, man!!
sweet, can’t wait to hear about it!
Travis – I’m already subscribed to that thread, man. Thanks for the heads up!
Jason – Tell that to my wife… =) J/K, I don’t really need an amp at home. At most, I would get a Micro Cube or a solid state amp that I could plug headphones into.
You might want to look into a Tech 21 Trademark amp, too. I picked up the 60 model for $235 shipped off eBay – not bad for a SS amp to use for lower volume practice at home.
Yeah, the Tech 21 stuff looks really cool. The “amp at home” thing is really not a priority for me right now. It’s a luxury that I can’t indulge at this point.
