After receiving the AC30CC DOA, I researched about it – and found all the same horror stories you mentioned. Had something to do with the rectifier going bad. I had bought another tube to try out, but it didn’t help, so back to the seller (on eBay) it went.

I play an AC15CC that the church bought and I haven't had a single issue with it. I have probably been using it for over 2 years now. I did the treble cap mod and replaced the speaker with an Eminence Red Fang and it sounds great. I've found a couple of options for the Jazzmaster - just trying to decide between black or white.
